Radnor Road Lodge is a purpose-designed supported living accommodation, providing around-the-clock personal care for young adult males aged 18–25 years. The service supports individuals with learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), behaviours that challenge, and severe but enduring mental health disorders.
Our aim is to promote independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring that all care and support is delivered in line with CQC Fundamental Standards, safeguarding requirements, and the individual’s care plan.
Accommodation
• Capacity: 8 individual bedrooms
• Room Features: Fully furnished, lockable doors, personal storage, and access to shared facilities.
• Shared Facilities: Communal kitchen, living area, dining area, laundry room, and secure garden space.
• Accessibility: Ground-floor access and adapted facilities for residents with mobility needs.
• Safety & Security: CCTV in communal areas, 24/7 staffing, fire safety systems, secure entry.
Care and Support
• Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• Staffing: Qualified support workers, senior carers, and a Registered Manager, with on-call management support.
• Staff-to-Service User Ratio: Based on assessed needs, ensuring responsive and personalised care.
• Core Care Functions:
– Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
– Medication administration and monitoring.
– Support with meal preparation and healthy eating.
– Assistance with household tasks and budgeting.
– Emotional support and mental health monitoring.
– Liaison with healthcare professionals (GPs, mental health teams, therapists).
– Risk assessment and safeguarding.
